How we court here

The community promise

unsneak works because two real people decide, together, how a courtship goes. These are the promises everyone makes when they join, and the ones we make back.

Your promise

  1. Be real.

Your own face, your own name, your own words. Recent photos. No pretending to be someone else.

  2. Be kind, even when it's a no.

Every courtship ends in a date or a goodbye. When it's a goodbye, say it gently. We'll help you find the words, but they stay yours.

  3. Respect the pace.

The Dial only turns when you both say yes. Never push, nag or guilt someone about it. Stepping back is always OK and never needs a reason.

  4. Keep it on unsneak until you meet.

Don't push to move to another app, and never ask for money, gifts or financial details.

  5. Meet in public, and tell a friend.

First dates are at public places with opening hours. Use Lookout to share your plans.

  6. Speak up.

If something feels off, report it. You'll never be in trouble for reporting in good faith.

Our promise

The Fair Price Pledge

Never paywalled: verification and safety tools, Lookout, Honest Goodbyes and closure, the Dial and stepping back, reporting and blocking, playing Tonight, up to five courtships at a time (the same for everyone), your Honest Record, seeing who invited you, and exporting or deleting your data.

Never sold: visibility boosts, "jump the queue", super-likes, a better Honest Record, or your data.

Premium (when it launches) will add more: more courtships at once, richer rituals and keepsakes. Never a better place in line, and never someone else's attention.

The AI Charter

A courtship is two humans playing. So AI on unsneak works backstage, and never pretends to be you.

AI will never

AI may help with

Anything AI has touched carries a small "polished with help" or "translated" label.

The Honest Report

Every quarter we'll publish, in plain numbers: how many courtships got an ending (our target is all of them), how long endings took, how many were chosen goodbyes versus automatic ones, reports received and how fast we handled them, verification rejections, scam accounts removed, and how often people stepped back on the Dial (in total, never individually). The first report will come 90 days after launch, once there's real data to share.

What's never OK

Breaking these rules can mean a warning, a pause, or permanent removal, depending on how serious it is. Where someone may be in danger, we'll involve the authorities.

Reporting

In the app, tap Report on any profile, message, answer or event. On the website, use the flag on a Tonight answer, or email hello@unsneak.com. In an emergency, call 112.
